Where’s your next catch-up happening? Our local cafés and hospitality businesses give us places to meet, take a break and spend time together.

Today’s FBN member spotlight is on Café Lounge in Ravensthorpe and Wavecrest Bar and Bistro - Hopetoun/Wavecrest Village & Tourist Park - Hopetoun.

The smell of sausage rolls drifting down the street might be your first introduction to Café Lounge—but there’s plenty more to discover inside.

☕ Café Lounge has been serving quality food and premium coffee since September 2025. The team is delighted to have Bam, from Thailand, bringing her barista skills to the café.

They’ve thought about every sense: the aroma of fresh food, the taste of Micrology coffee, the sounds of the 20th century, the food and décor, and the feeling of calm in the space.

As the team puts it:
“We love serving locals and meeting travellers. Mostly we feel a sense of pride and joy when customers enjoy their experience with us.”

🍽️ Wavecrest brings together hospitality and accommodation in Hopetoun, serving locals and welcoming people visiting our coast.

Hospitality is one of the many industries represented in our membership. These businesses contribute to everyday life here and help shape the experience visitors take home.

These businesses are part of the diverse FBN membership helping people feel welcome in our region—whether they live here or are just passing through.

Show them some support—head over to their pages, give them a like or follow, and keep them in mind when you’re planning your next catch-up.

The coffee on your morning stop. The essentials you pop in to pick up. Local businesses are part of our everyday routines.

Next in our FBN member series are Salty Sips Co. in Hopetoun and Keen's Mini Mart in Ravensthorpe - two members adding to the mix of local places we shop and stop.

☕ Salty Sips Co. shares:
“Serving organic coffee and snacks to a community we love, Hopetoun WA. Established December 2022.”

🛒 Keen's Mini Mart represents another important part of our membership: local retail. Having a shop close by gives people somewhere to pick up what they need and keep their spending in the community.

Our members work across many different industries, and this daily series is a chance to get to know more of them.

Show these two some support—visit their pages, give them a like or follow, and say hello next time you stop in.
