What I love about words is listening to a story, sharing the emotion and passion to build it into something fabulous! My passion is writing descriptive content. But in order to do that, it's imperative I listen to the storyteller. Listening (as opposed to hearing - there is a difference!) is critical to enable me to gain an understanding of the underlying message that may not be articulated in wor
ds but what is actually being felt by a client. A typical example is to spend up to a maximum of 2 hours with a client, listening to their story. Their story is authentic, therefore my interpretation of it must also be authentic and captured with the exact emotion to enable the words to flow in my summary of the meeting. Another example is you ring, I answer, you email the skeleton dot points of a proposal and I present it in a professional manner either for a powerpoint presentation suited to a workshop/seminar environment or as a professional document to be tendered your clients. Newsletters, marketing, social media, sort films, I cover just about everything and if I can't, I'll find someone who can!
