The loss of a young life like this is hard to put into words. It makes no sense.

Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved her.

To everyone who stood alongside the search, your efforts mattered. It showed the strength of community and the care that exists across the Territory.

Clear, responsible guidance around OC spray — including legal considerations, safe handling, and when (and when not) it may be appropriate as a personal safety option.

We absolutely loved delivering this session. Such a powerful evening with a group of strong, engaged women committed to their personal safety.

At Personal Protection Strategies, our priority is always prevention.
We focus on strengthening awareness, decision-making and practical safety habits to reduce the likelihood of physical engagement. However, we also acknowledge the reality that sometimes, through no fault of our own, women may need simple, effective strategies to protect themselves.

Providing practical, accessible tools, without overcomplicating things, is what this work is about.

A sincere thank you to our partners in prevention, Neighbourhood Watch and Victims of Crime NT, for continuing to fund and back sessions like this.

Community safety only strengthens when we work together.

And a special shoutout to the Order Response Unit (PORU) team for showing up and standing alongside the women in the room. Your presence and support matter.
