For those businesses based in Melbourne & Mitchell Shire the expanded Business support fund is now available. To apply you will need to

- prove your location
- be participating in the jobkeeper scheme
- be registered with worksafe
- have an annual payroll of less than $3m
- be registered for GST
- have an ABN

Businesses within metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire that are affected by the return to Stay at Home restrictions may be eligible for a one-off, $5,000 grant under the Business Support Fund - Expansion program.

If you live in NSW you may be eligible for the $3,000 Small Business Recovery Grant which opens today. The grant is aimed at assisting businesses reopen. Check out the NSW site to see if you're eligible.

Small Business Recovery Grants of up to $3,000 will be available from 1 July on the Service NSW website. The grant can be used for fit-out changes, staff training, advertising, marketing and more. This will help COVID-19 impacted small businesses relaunch and stay COVID-safe.

The ATO have released the Alternative tests for the jobkeeper payment. If your business started in the last 12 months or has changed substantially you may now be eligible

Have you started a new business in the last 12 months?

To check if you meet the fall in turnover test & are eligible for the JobKeeper payment, you can either:
- average your turnover over the number of months you've been operating, or
- use your last three months of turnover.
