It is with mixed emotions that I announce the sale of my two franchises, Computer Troubleshooters Indooroopilly and Computer Troubleshooters Mount Gravatt. For over the past 10 years, it has been a pleasure building up the Franchises and getting to know all my collaboration colleagues, online and in person. I continue to wish you all the best with your businesses.

I am excited about this new chapter in my life and confident in the new owners ability to lead the businesses. They will bring fresh energy and extensive expertise to the business. The IT world is constantly evolving, and this year will bring significant changes, especially in IT security, AI especially in business and the end of support for Microsoft Windows 10.

They will take full control and management of both businesses on March 7, 2025. All current contact details will remain the same, so please continue to use them for any issues or inquiries.

How often do you back up your important business or personal data?
Customer contact details, purchase order histories, and forecasts are just a few of the sensitive data hackers would love to gain access to.

You need to make a backup routine, and automate it so that if it is lost or stolen, you can recover it in its entirety from recovery options.
Backup companies recommend backups in threes. That is your information should be in 3 independent locations.
E.G. The drive in your computer where you work. Your cloud service where your daily work syncs to i.e. Microsoft OneDrive. Your local backup drive, which is NOT left connected to your computer.

You have probably heard the terms floated around from time to time.
PaaS Saas IaaS, are you too scared to ask what they mean?
Let's talk about them in the Microsoft world you may be familiar with, but they are used widely in current business environments.

Below is a summary of the article to pique your interest.
So without further ado as people say, let's go.

SaaS so this would be Microsoft 365 environment.
PaaS so this would be Microsoft providing all the equipment to run your software, you just look after your program/software.
So then lastly IaaS, the infrastructure. Microsoft provides the infrastructure, you provide everything else. i.e. you provide the operating system, the programs.

Then as an overview what does this look like.
So note for SaaS Microsoft 365 you the customer are responsible for your information and it's security and safety. The dark blue boxes, with a bit of shared responsibility.
In summary:
SaaS is ideal for hassle-free access to pre-built software.
PaaS empowers developers to build custom applications without worrying about infrastructure.
IaaS provides raw infrastructure resources for organizations to create their own environments.
