Rural Wrecking will be closed Tuesday while we celebrate the extraordinary life of our mate, Owen 💙

Thank you for your understanding as we take this time to remember and farewell someone who meant so much to us.

08/09/2026

Over the weekend we lost one of our own. 💔

Owen was part of the furniture — someone who should never have had to leave, especially this soon.

For the last 17 years, you were so much more than someone who came to work every day. You were family.

We’ll miss your ability to fix just about anything, no matter what random thing we threw at you, your cheeky conversations, your recent gopher rides, and simply having you around.

Rural Wrecking just won’t be the same without you, Big O. You were truly one of a kind and simply irreplaceable.

Our thoughts are with Amy, Ruby and all of Owen’s family at this incredibly sad time. ❤️

Rest easy, mate. You’re already very sadly missed. ❤️

*Celebration of Life details will be shared once arrangements have been made.

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of tractors and spare parts, with knowledge and experience with John Deere, Case and New Holland tractors preferred.

If you know your way around agricultural machinery, can identify parts and enjoy helping customers get the right gear, we’d love to hear from you.
