A phone call to us doesn't automatically mean a call-out!
And that's something we wish more people knew!
Sometimes our job is simply answering a few questions, helping someone identify a snake from a photo or video, or reassuring them that the snake they've spotted is just going about its business and, if given the space, will likely move along on its own.
And yes, that advice and identification is FREE!
Then there are the phone calls that do turn into a Call Out/Relocation.
Some days we're crawling through roof cavities, climbing onto roofs, searching gardens, bedrooms, loungerooms and just about anywhere else a snake has decided to play hide and seek!
Other times, it's a nice quick job relocating a snake that's found itself somewhere it really shouldn't be.
Every call is different, and that's one of the things we love about what we do. You really never know what to expect!
For us, it's not just about catching snakes. It's also about helping people understand them a little better and feel more comfortable living alongside our native wildlife, even if they'd still prefer to admire them from a VERY safe distance!
