After spending some time tracking this beautiful carpet python down under a deck, we finally managed to get this beautiful Carpet Python safely out and relocated. 🐍

She definitely didn’t want to leave her hiding spot, but with a bit of patience and care, everything ended well. Carpet Pythons are an important part of our ecosystem and are best admired from a safe distance.

One of our beautiful Caramel Bredli het Albino pet snakes is deep in blue, which is the stage just before she sheds her skin. During this time, a fluid builds between the old and new layers of skin, causing her eyes to become cloudy and her colours to take on a dull blue-grey appearance. It’s all part of the natural shedding process.

In just a few days she’ll slip out of her old skin, revealing bright, fresh colours underneath. It’s always amazing to watch these incredible snakes transform!
