🎀 WELL…THIS WASN’T ON MY 40TH BIRTHDAY BINGO CARD.

I thought I’d be ticking off financial freedom, 8 hours of sleep & finally having my life together… not a breast cancer scare. What.The.Actual.🫠!

I could sit quietly in the anxiety of the unknown, but whether to my credit or detriment, I’m a doer. And if sharing this experience helps even ONE person get checked, then perhaps this can become a little less 💩

I’m still in the early days of investigation, & our family has an uncertain road ahead, & right now more questions than answers, and yes, it’s scary.

But it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, & I can do what I know best: rally, bring people together & raise awareness.

Because it’s so easy to second-guess ourselves. To tell ourselves it’s probably nothing. To wait until tomorrow, next week or when life gets a little less busy.
