At Impressive Print Group we are striving to do our bit to reduce our environmental foot print

-Virtually 100% of our paper purchases are from paper companies that harvest trees from decades old tree farms specifically planted, harvested, and replanted to provide an ongoing source of non-public paper pulp.

-We recycle tons of paper and plastic each and every month. Frankly, it is a lot of work and effort, with a buy-back revenue stream that covers only a small fraction of the cost of our efforts. That's OK, we believe it to be a very valuable effort.

-We use recycled papers whenever possible, and encourage others to do the same.
We use inks and toners that are recyclable.

-We use chemicals and solvents that are almost 100% water soluble, bio-degradable, and recyclable. They are often more expensive, but we consider these products to be a wise investment.

-We have implemented programs to reduce our electrical consumption and to minimize the usage of all raw materials.

-A very important way that we urge our customers to partner with us in our environment efforts is by using our digital/internet ordering, proofing, and reordering system. Use of our digital ordering system enables all of us to save substantial amounts of gasoline and other raw materials.

-We also recycled the water we use in our printing processes.

Interesting print facts....
• 1 ton of paper = 400 reams = 200,000 sheets
• 1 tree makes 16.67 reams of copy paper or 8,333 sheets
• 1 ream (500 sheets) uses 6% of a tree (and those add up quickly)

The web 2 print feature on our website has now been switched on. Over the coming weeks more products will be added to the online store making it even easier to order your print.

2013 is well underway and changes are upon us here @ Impressive Print. Over the Xmas New Year break we installed our commercial binding equiptment which is now 100% up and running..
But our big news for 2013 is the roll out of our web2print online store. After more than 6mth looking into a variety of software packages we have finally taken to leap and are in the process of doing the back end set up of our online store which we hope to have finished over the next few weeks.
