We have so many things to celebrate lately and today is no exception - it is Jordan’s 2‑year work anniversary 💚♻️

For those of you who know this guy, you’ll know he is spirited and devoted.

Two years ago he applied for a job and hasn’t looked back. In that time he’s become a rock‑solid part of our team - reliable, hardworking, and always bringing good energy to the shed.

We’re so grateful to have him as part of The Exchange Shed crew. Here’s to many more years of growth, laughs and teamwork!

♻️ Got old white collection bags? Don’t bin them — recycle them with us!

We’re proud to share that The Exchange Shed is part of the Big Bag Recovery pilot program, helping turn worn‑out white Containers for Change bags and our own Exchange Shed white bags and old bulk bags into new recycled resin instead of landfill.

If your bag is on its last legs — torn, worn seams, no longer fit for use — bring it into the depot. We’ll make sure it enters the BBR recycling stream where it’s collected, washed, shredded and remanufactured into new products.

It’s a simple way you can help us keep materials in circulation and reduce waste.
It’s part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and doing right by our community.

On Saturday, we sang Happy 18th Birthday to the tallest member of our team, Gus 🎂

A great human and a warm soul, this young man gives his all and we couldn't be happier to have had him on our team for a year now!

Today Shane is celebrating 5 years with us, which means five years of being the guy who’s happy to do anything, tackles every job with a grin, and treats “no worries” like a lifestyle.

He’s truly multi‑faceted - drives the forklift like a pro, handles home collections with ease, and is one of our fastest and most accurate counters.

An absolute champion and someone we’re genuinely blessed to have on our team.
