Three in a row! 🏆🏆🏆 And now… Hall of Fame!
I’m incredibly proud to share that the Jindabyne Chamber of Commerce has been named a Regional Winner at the Business NSW South East NSW Business Awards for the third consecutive year, earning the NSW South East Chamber Hall of Fame recognition. What an accolade for our Snowy Mountains business community!
As Secretary and a member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee for the past 8 years, I know just how much work happens behind the scenes. We’re a hands-on team that genuinely cares for the businesses we represent; advocating, promoting, mentoring, creating opportunities, driving tourism and finding practical ways to strengthen our local economy.
Over the years, we’ve watched the Chamber grow enormously, built stronger connections across the business community and worked hard to make sure local businesses have a voice. Our approach has always gone beyond traditional advocacy, we actively promote businesses, create events and opportunities, foster collaboration and champion the local business communities.
So to have that work recognised three years running, and now with a Hall of Fame accolade, feels pretty special. I’m over the moon and very proud of the people I get to work alongside. ❤️
A big thank you to Regional Development Australia Southern NSW and ACT for sponsoring this award category and supporting the work of business chambers across our region.
And the timing couldn’t be better personally…
Next week I’m heading back to work as a Business Advisor with Enterprise Plus and Small Business Network, delivering the NSW Business Connect program, to be called Small Business Advisory. I’m genuinely excited to be returning to the work I love; sitting down one-on-one with small business owners, solving problems, finding opportunities and helping businesses move forward.
Championing small business through the Jindabyne Chamber and supporting business owners individually through Service NSW Business Bureau Business Connect, it feels very good to be doing both again.
What a week for small business in the Snowy Mountains! 🥂🏔️
