At 𝗕𝗡𝗜 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗲 this week, we pressed pause on the day-to-day and focused on something that truly drives success — 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

Because whether it’s business, health, or life… success doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from:
✔ Setting clear targets
✔ Taking consistent action
✔ Tracking progress
✔ And having the right people around you to keep you accountable

Our session was led by 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, who guided the room through a powerful 10-question framework designed to map out where we want to be in the next 12 months.

It sparked some great conversations, fresh clarity, and real momentum across the room.

We had a full-on meeting last week! We welcomed our new member, Sean Brown, from Paramount Business Brokers. Sean is an experienced business broker with over 35 years of hands-on experience running, growing and turning around businesses across multiple industries. He now helps business owners successfully sell their companies by positioning their business to attract the right buyers and achieve the best outcome.



Izzy Fraser from Macpherson Kelley shared valuable insights into retail leasing in Queensland, explaining how landlords and tenants can avoid costly pitfalls by understanding lease terms, disclosure requirements and the Retail Shop Leases Act. If you're negotiating a retail or commercial lease, Izzy helps ensure the terms are clear, compliant and structured to protect your interests.



We welcomed Heidi Rose as BNI Horizon’s Ambassador from the Brisbane South West and Toowoomba regional support team. Heidi supports all our members and helps them to make the most out of their BNI membership.



For our education item, Gita Hettiaratchi from Towards Growth reminded us that BNI is more than a networking meeting - it’s a business development system, helping members sharpen their message, leverage each other’s networks and consistently grow their businesses through structured connections.



We celebrated Mark, Louis and Tracey as top achievers for February.
