Why you should have a building inspector check over your home?

These are some examples of roof frame defects that were picked up at a recent Practical Completion Inspection.

Lack of tie down connections (particularly for a tin roof) can lead to excess movement of the roof frame and maintenance issues after handover.

Ideally we would inspect the roof frame separately during construction, to ensure the builder has ample time (and access) to rectify all defects with ease.
