Well after 22 and a half years last Friday our doors closed for the last time, what a ride of emotions the last few months have been, this is not the way I wanted to see the business end, to close it after pouring my heart into for so long and also for the town to loose such an iconic shop is heartbreaking 😢 gradually our staff that have become like family have moved to other jobs which is great, our stock has cleared out leaving the shop looking very empty and lots of fixtures have been collected and now the full pack up has started ready for the new businesses to move in. The walls gone up to create two shops, the painter comes Monday to paint the first shop, it’s all happening !
Day one photo all those years ago, kids have grown up so much, less hair on Chris and more wrinkles on me, but what a great ride it’s been, so many great memories mixed in with a few tough times and a whole lot of hard work everyday of the year !!
Was so good to have Caitlin home Friday and the weekend to do the last day with me and Chris of the truck too !!
