Don’t you just love having clients who get things done?

On Monday at 9am, Kayla Fernance from That Socials Team jumped on a Biz Bestie session with me. We spent an hour reviewing her website, refining the wording, improving the functionality, and creating a clear action plan.

By 1:10pm on Tuesday, every single change had been implemented.

She then sent the website out for testing and feedback.

By 2pm on Wednesday, her brand-new website was live.

That’s the difference between staying stuck and moving forward in business.

Success isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about taking action on the advice, resources, and strategies available to you. Fast action creates momentum, momentum creates results, and results build confidence.

A Biz Bestie session isn’t about having a nice chat and then carrying on as normal. It’s about identifying what’s holding your business back, creating a practical plan, and implementing changes that actually move the needle.

Massive congratulations to Kayla for taking swift action and making it happen.

If you’re looking for someone in your corner to help you cut through the noise, get clear on your next steps, and create momentum in your business, I’d be honoured to be your Biz Bestie.

Send me a message to find out more.

One thing I’ve learnt in business is that you don’t have to carry it all alone.

For so many years, I thought being a good business owner meant having all the answers, solving every problem myself, and figuring everything out as I went. But the reality is that some of my biggest breakthroughs have come from conversations with other business owners.

A problem shared really is a problem halved.

Sometimes all it takes is someone looking at your situation from a different perspective. As a business strategist, that’s often the role I play. When you’re in the middle of a challenge, emotion can make it difficult to see the solution. I get to bring the strategy, objectivity and fresh perspective that helps uncover the next best move.

That’s why I’m so passionate about collaboration over competition.

The friendships, connections and support networks you build in business are often the real win. The right conversation can save you months of frustration, thousands of dollars, and a whole lot of second-guessing.

Here is a snippet of my time on stage Friday 29th May in Melbourne, at the Beam Awards Fuchsia Festival Masterclass, where I was able to speak about the power of collaboration, community and building a business you don’t have to navigate alone.
Because sometimes the most strategic thing you can do is ask for help.

It’s lots of fun when we get to go and visit ASE participants in person and support their business

This isn’t a room you attend to look the part. It’s a room that actually shifts how you think.

I’ve been to a lot of business events, and if I’m honest, a lot of them feel surface level. You leave inspired, but not always clear. This is different. The conversations go deeper, and the connections actually mean something.

There will be over 150 female business owners in the room, 17 expert speakers, and a format designed for real connection, not just sitting and listening.

Yes, I’m presenting, but that’s not why I keep coming back. I come back because I want to be in that room, surrounded by women who are building, growing, and thinking bigger.

If you’re ready for that kind of environment, this is for you.

Fuchsia Friday. 29 May. Crown Towers Melbourne.

This will be my fourth Beam Awards… and there’s a reason I keep coming back.

I’ve been in a lot of rooms over the years, and not all of them are created equal. Some look good on the outside, but leave you feeling like you just scratched the surface.

This isn’t one of those.

What keeps pulling me back is the people. The conversations. The energy in the room that feels supportive, not competitive. It’s women who are building real things, having honest conversations, and genuinely wanting to see each other win.

And when you’re in a space like that, something shifts.

You think bigger.
You connect deeper.
You leave clearer on what’s next.

If you’ve been thinking about coming to the Fuchsia Festival and Beam Awards this May in Melbourne… take this as your sign 👀
