BOS BAG

BOS BAG is an all-weather refillable dustbag used for livestock external parasite management. Bos Rural has rebranded to KANDANGA FARM STORE.

Kandanga Farm Store is the preferred supplier to Australia's non-chemical food producers. The first store of its type in the country to eliminate synthetics and chemicals from its range. Bos Wholesale is a wholesale rural supply business with a shopfront at Kandanga Farm Store and selling through a network of other rural supply stores. Qualified staff from across sectors bring a wealth of knowledg

e and experience to agriculture. They identify/ develop, trial and eventually market “products for good”. We work with natural capital managers to move away from chemical use to restore the land and be ongoing viable businesses. Our aim is to help customers make the most of their resources to achieve a regenerative, efficient, enjoyable and profitable enterprise. We believe in 'reverse corporatisation' - stemming the one-way flow of money and resources from regional areas to the city and overseas and instead reversing that trend. When you work with us, you are working with farmers, qualified in Holistic Management and many other aspects of Regenerative Business. You can be assured that the advice you are being given is informed and based on years of hands on experience and knowledge and the latest information.

Bos Bag and scratching pole. Winter can mean , but getting to where the (relatively immobile - compared to ) lice are, can be tricky. Check out this nifty solution… (we’ve seen other that can oil with natural products and (mineral oil). Nothing to do with but we ALWAYS advocate strategies. New Product (not really- new label).

As a lot of grade 20um was (apparently) being used in , we’ve been asked nicely by our come up with a second label that doesn’t suggest it is an insecticide.

So to differentiate (the 20um inert, non-chemical , ground rock, physical contact Insecticidal powder) so that it’s used only as per its label for the control of insects in grain VS the 20um inert, non-chemical, amorphous ground rock, external physical contact powder that customers may use in general health and wellbeing programs and for “other uses” - here’s DUSTING POWDER.

The difference between and ???

One has a green label and one is slightly “off yellow”. 🧐

Let’s hope that clears things up!

Winter is upon us and so is FarmFest! So much going on but throw into the mix a small site at on Tues-Thu in .

We haven’t done anything like this for a while (get out and see people), and with reduced public days at shop, we owe it to you- so make use of us!

To be fair Nick from Belvedere Farm has done all the heavy lifting on this one - so get along and see him, Tim, Amber and Harley (and a few other visitors) over the week.

Advice is free, and so is if you buy things like BOS BAG combos or including on the stand via our NEW online portal. Save carrying stuff to the car!

There’s also seed samples to give-away (while they last) and some new products you won’t have seen before. (And a great new Website to be launched there)!

We DON’T have any weird offerings like “give us all your money and we’ll give you 5% PA interest then lock you in to spending that money with us” (but if anyone actually wants a s**t deal like that we’ll take it)!

is a pretty crowd and we don’t have the site budget of the big guys- in fact you’ll probably struggle to find us (but it’s indoors- as a hint- SLP-05)! Please tag Kandanga Farm Store if you do so others will know!

On social media- today we are about to tick over 16,000 followers on Facebook (help please!) so we actually have a bigger online audience than Nutrien Australia (with ZERO expenditure on marketing or sponsored ads).

Maybe there’s an interest in what we are doing- maybe a in this Poison-Free tribe?

Just come and have a yarn and get some useful information- no , no but definitely ! (There’ll be enough of that there).

See you at FARMFEST!

Ok so this is confusing. A mob of AA cattle on agistment died after being treated with “fly repellent”. It seems to be of dehydration but for some reason fly poison is being reported as a contributing factor.

A large, highly exposed public company has something happen that’s unheard of - and no investigation by anyone?

It would be nice to know WTF!

When are we going to stop producing food with poison?

A theory for their cause of death was that a tap from a water tank to a trough was accidentally off. The deaths have horrified people in the agriculture industry, and marks more turmoil at AACo.
