Couple Wanted – Business Management & Operations | Karratha
Karratha, WA – Live and work in the Pilbara
We are looking for a reliable, motivated couple to join our expanding businesses and help manage the day-to-day running of our operations from our yard in Karratha LIA.
We operate two established local businesses — Parrys Merchants and Pilbara Fish Truck — and are looking for a couple who are happy to get involved, work as a team and take on a variety of responsibilities.
Scott and Jenny will continue to be involved and share the workload, but we are looking for the right couple to become an important part of the business and give us the opportunity to spend some time away as well.
Parrys Merchants
Parrys Merchants is a local wholesaler supplying cleaning products, food and packaging goods to local businesses, camps and customers throughout the Pilbara.
The role would generally involve:
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm
• Every second Saturday, 8:00am–12:30pm
• Administration and general office duties
• Day-to-day running of the office
• Coordinating workers, pickups and deliveries
• Answering customer enquiries, emails and phone calls
• Assisting customers with office walk-ins
• Ordering and managing stock
• Social media and website updates
• General organisation and coordination of the business
Pilbara Fish Truck
Pilbara Fish Truck supplies fresh seafood to towns throughout the Pilbara, with regular travel ranging from Kununurra through to Kalgoorlie. The majority of the work will be based in Karratha, however there will be opportunities and requirements to travel and work away throughout the month.
Duties will include:
• Helping load and unload trucks
• General truck maintenance and upkeep
• Serving customers from the back of the fish truck
• Travelling to various towns throughout the Pilbara
• Working away when required
• General yard duties
• Rubbish removal and minimal gardening
• Helping wherever needed to keep the business running smoothly
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a couple who are:
• Reliable, honest and hardworking
• Happy to get their hands dirty and be involved in all aspects of the businesses
• Comfortable working independently and as a team
• Friendly and confident dealing with customers
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Flexible and willing to travel when required
• Experienced in administration, customer service, logistics or business operations
• Looking for a long-term opportunity in the Pilbara
A current HR licence is essential, for Pilbara Fish Truck and experience with trucks, deliveries, stock control, administration or retail/wholesale operations would be highly regarded.

Remuneration
Competitive base salaries offered to start off with a profit share arrangement in place for when Scott and Jenny can step away from running the business. At this point there will be more workload and more responsibilities but a share of the profits.
