Two brand new Komatsu HD605 dump trucks have just joined the Hunter Quarries fleet at Karuah - and they're already hard at work.
These machines carry up to 64 tonnes per load and are built with operator safety front of mind - hill start assist, auto re**rd speed control, full LED lighting, and a waiting brake system that automatically engages when the truck is parked.
Investing in new equipment means safer conditions for our people and better reliability for our customers. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Congratulations to Luke Montford on completing his Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade. 🎉

Luke has been a valued member of the Hunter Quarries team throughout his apprenticeship, and it's been great to watch him develop into a skilled and dependable tradesman. His commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and being a strong team player hasn't gone unnoticed - and it's no surprise to anyone who's worked alongside him.

Coming from a well-known local family with strong ties to the industry, Luke has always understood what it takes to get the job done right. Now a fully qualified tradesman, he continues to bring that same professionalism to everything he works on - whether it's maintenance, fabrication, or keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
