Over 40 years ago Michael Hess began an apprenticeship at GloWeave, in Melbourne as a sewing machine mechanic. Michael received an award for apprentice of the year in his third year of apprenticeship. During the next few years Michael gained qualification in Industrial Pneumatics, Industrial Electronics and Open Boiler Certificates, also Production Management in the clothing industry. He continues

still to be a leader in sewing machine repair today having owned and operated his own business for over 25years in the sewing machine industry.
