🌸 FILL YOUR CUP, BEAUTIFUL WOMAN 🌸
Women are like bank accounts.
If we keep withdrawing—giving to everyone else, ticking off the to-do lists, holding space for others—without ever depositing, eventually… we run dry.
Empty.
Exhausted.
Disconnected from ourselves.
But something magical happens when we give ourselves permission to slow down, to receive, and to rest.
Last week, I did something I’ve never done before: I gifted myself an entire week of stillness, healing, and deep self-love at an Ayurvedic retreat in beautiful Sri Lanka.
It was pure bliss. 💫
Each day began at 6:30am with gentle yoga or tai chi, followed by a nourishing breakfast at 8am. My days were filled with the most incredible treatments—herbal mud packs on the head, steam baths, nasal cleansing, and all kinds of massages that soothed my body and soul. Every detail, from the food to the consultations with the Ayurvedic doctor, was designed to help me reconnect with myself.
Dinner was at 6pm, and I was in bed by 7:30pm, reading and simply being. I’d wake at 4am (a mix of jet lag and early nights!), feeling completely at peace and ready to embrace the day ahead.
This little patch of paradise reminded me: we can’t pour from an empty cup. And we were never meant to run on empty.
So this is your reminder, beautiful woman—you are worthy of rest. You are worthy of care. You are allowed to slow down. To receive. To say, “I choose me today.”
Self-love isn’t selfish. It’s essential. We can’t give to others if we are running on empty.
Make a deposit into your own bank account of well-being. It doesn’t have to be a week in Sri Lanka (though I highly recommend it 😉)—it can be a quiet cup of tea in the sunshine, a walk alone, a massage, or even just a moment of stillness with your hand over your heart.
You deserve it. Always. 💕
