It was a pleasure to attend the centenary of the NZB Karaka Yearling Sale, a sale that has produced so many DGR Group 1 successes, including So You Think, which I purchased there in 2008. Special to see the champion honoured in the tribute book as one of seven horses of legendary status 🏆

I’m pleased to share that the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale once again proved a source of great buying, and I was able to secure three top-quality yearlings by gun young sires New Bay, Stay Inside and Peltzer.

Desert Lightning (Pride of Dubai x Isstoora) added more black type to the family of my 2YO Per Incanto x Winter Sky (IRE) filly when he took out the G3 Sandown Stakes, his first stakes win in Aus, after Group 1 success back in NZ.
