With Gorilla Highlands Coffee – With Gorilla Highlands Coffee, I have been recognised as one of their top fans — and I am genuinely proud of it.
I have worked with Richard Rugaya and the Gorilla Highlands Coffee team for many years on branding, storytelling, market access and images for Coffee that Cares from Kigezi.
What I respect most is their clear model: good coffee, strong farmer links, conservation and community. Their work supports smallholder farmers, many of them women, and helps protect the forest landscape linked to Uganda’s mountain gorillas.
I have valued their growth from local roasting to the Kisoro café, new packaging, trade fairs, coffee caravans in Europe, awards and online coffee courses.
