Congratulations to Joy Adams, winner of the Sunday Medal! 🏆

The Sunday Medal is a three-round stroke event played across February, July and September, with the best two of three scores counting towards the final aggregate result.

Joy put herself in a great position early with scores of 76 and 75 across the first two rounds, finishing with an aggregate of 151 nett to take the win on a countback. With the final round played last Sunday in extreme winds and on lightning fast greens, those early scores proved crucial.

Well played, Joy!

A little late, but a very big **Happy Superintendent’s Day** to our hardworking Superintendent, **Nick Launer**, and the entire KGC Grounds Team.

Nick, your knowledge and expertise across so many areas of course management never ceases to impress. Your reports to the Links & Match Committee are always insightful, and for many of us, hearing your update is one of the highlights of the month.

It has been a massive year with the installation of the new irrigation system, but you and the team have barely missed a beat. The way the course has continued to present throughout such a significant project is a credit to everyone involved.

We’re now looking forward to the next exciting chapter as we move into the Course Master Plan over the coming years.

Thank you, Nick, and congratulations to you and the entire KGC Grounds Team for the work you do every day for our Club and our members.
