Esther at Known Designs and Print has us looking the part! 🙌

These country shirts look fantastic, with our Walcha Coffee logo on the back and sleeve. We’re pretty proud to wear them.

Thanks for getting the team so well kitted out, Esther! ☕️

Love reading this sort of thing!

Check out Hayley in her Homeschool Mum Since 2022 T-shirt!

It’s her favourite shirt and it gets worn a lot, and it still looks like it just came off the press!

This is because we use high quality AS Colour T-shirts. And have Esther (A homeschool mum herself) from Known Designs & Print do our printing!

Love seeing these being worn a lot in public!

Jo from BeeLike who stocks at Walcha Coffee is one of my amazing customers. I love seeing her products in the shelves (and even better that she has to keep restocking them). We use her handsalve as it’s so moisturising and kind on the skin.

What a way to start Monday morning!

A 5 star review is not only a little confidence boost as we jump into a new week, it’s also a testimony for someone else who might be considering supporting a local small business with their printing.

And honestly, that’s a big part of the heart behind Known Designs & Print.

We’re here for everyday people with everyday print needs.

Maybe you’re starting a new business and just need a handful of business cards.

Maybe you need signage for your shop, labels for your products, shirts for your team, stickers for your next event, menus, posters, packaging or something completely different.

You don’t need to be a big business. You don’t need to order hundreds or thousands. You don’t even need to have everything figured out yet.

We love being able to help people take an idea in their head and turn it into something they can actually hold, use and share.

We’ve worked hard to build a business where people feel known, not like just another order number.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about print.

It’s about people, their ideas, their businesses, their events, their next step and sometimes just helping them make something happen.

So to everyone who takes the time to leave a review, recommend us to a friend or choose to support our little local business, thank you.

It genuinely means more than you probably realise.

Got something you need printed? Send us a message and let’s see what we can make happen.

Known for simple | Known for print | Known for you.

Today we finally hit 3,000 followers!

I don’t tend to care too much about numbers, and I barely take notice of them, but I have to admit, it’s pretty nice to see that number.

Maybe naively, I like to think it means what we offer is being seen by more people who might one day need printing and consider supporting a small business like ours.

A small business that takes pride in the work we do, offers fast turnaround times and no minimum orders, and works hard to make sure every customer receives the best service possible.

We’ve put a lot of love, time and hard work into Known Designs & Print over the years, and it’s lovely to see our little community growing.

So, celebrate with me for a moment while I celebrate 3,000 followers!

Thank you for being here, for following along, for supporting us, and for choosing to shop small. Whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, recommended us to someone or simply enjoy seeing what we do, it all means more than you know.

Here’s to the next 3,000! 💜

What a memorable morning in Kiama!

For the past 18 months, Kiama Unplugged have been working towards finding a home for a community piano. A place where anyone, whether you’ve been playing for years or are just starting out, can sit down, play some music and bring people together.

Today, that dream became a reality at Burnetts On Barney , with a piano generously donated by Epics Music .

The community came out in force to enjoy the beautiful sunshine, listen to some wonderful music and spend time together.

There was a little nod to Known Designs & Print too, with a Coreflute sign printed by us and Kiama Unplugged’s branded tees.

One of my favourite moments was seeing an old friend sit down at the piano, followed by an unexpected opportunity for me to have a go. A gorgeous young boy encouraged me to “play what I love”, which was just the sweetest thing.

Then my eldest had a turn, and before long was accompanying ᴋᴀɴᴇ ᴄᴀʟᴄɪᴛᴇ , who was there to gig.

I love seeing things like this happen in our community. People from all sorts of places, different ages and different walks of life, coming together over something as simple as music.

A piano, a beautiful morning and a whole lot of connection.

Well done, Kiama Unplugged. What a special thing to bring to Kiama. ❤️

She might kill me for this… 😂 but I couldn’t help but snap a pic of my friend Cara from Bunches Balloon Boutique // Balloons, Party & Gifts Kiama when she came to pick up her selfie frame for her upcoming hockey finals!

She ordered one last year and it was a hit within the team. While she wasn’t planning on ordering one for 2026, her teammates clearly had other ideas and pushed for her to get one for this weekend!

Selfie frames are just one of the things we can print on Coreflute, and I’ve got multiple Coreflute prints in the print queue this week.

Coreflute is such an easy option for signage, whether you need a selfie frame, business sign, event signage, directional signs or something a little more fun.

You can order them with or without eyelets, depending on how you want to display them, and the ordering process is simple too. Send through your print-ready artwork, choose your size and options, and I’ll take care of the printing.

If you’ve been thinking about getting some signage printed, get in touch. No massive quantities required, just quality custom printing made to suit what you need.

And Cara… sorry. 😂

Sometimes it starts with a simple email.

“I’d like to meet with you to talk about printing.”

That email turned into a conversation over chai, some bigger conversations, a few ideas being shared and eventually some printing for a brand new bubble tea shop here in Kiama.

Today we got to help finish things off with decals for U-Tea Kiama windows, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

But this is the part of Known Designs & Print that we love most.

It’s not just about printing something and handing it over.

It’s about people.

It’s about hearing the idea someone has been carrying around in their head, helping them work out how to bring it into the real world, and walking alongside them as they build something of their own.

And the added bonus? Along the way, we’ve managed to gain some new friends too. And we think that’s pretty special.

Whether you’re starting with a little idea, growing an existing business or finally turning that dream into something people can see, we’re for you.

Known Designs & Print is here to support everyday people and businesses through branding and print, helping you bring your ideas to life and grow with confidence.

Because we really do believe there’s something pretty special about helping people see their dreams become reality.

If you’ve got an idea you’ve been thinking about, send us a message. Let’s have a chat and see where it could go.

Today is R U OK? Day.

I’m not at all against a day like today. In fact, I think anything that creates greater awareness around the need for connection, safe conversations and looking beyond ourselves is a good thing.

But I think there’s another question worth asking.

What do we say when someone answers, “No, I’m not okay”?

Sometimes we can feel the pressure to have the right words, offer advice, fix the situation or tell someone what they should do.

But often, we don’t need to have the answers.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is simply be present.

Listen without rushing to respond.

Sit with someone in the uncomfortable.

Let them know they don’t have to pretend everything is okay around us.

We don’t always know what someone is carrying, and offering advice about something we know very little about can sometimes make a person feel more alone, rather than less.

So maybe today isn’t just about asking, “Are you okay?”

Maybe it’s about being willing to stay when the answer is no.

Being available.

Being safe.

Listening.

And reminding someone that they don’t have to carry everything by themselves.

Sometimes connection doesn’t look like having the right words.

Sometimes it simply looks like staying.
