“I saw a post the other day by a lady who said she always grabs vintage casserole dishes when she sees them at thrift stores or yard sales and uses them when she brings a meal to someone! She said often they are cheaper than disposable ones and the family can either keep for themselves or pass on to someone else who needs a meal in the future! So in the spirit of reduce, reuse, renew & recycle... I thought this was a neat idea worth sharing!”

I've spent a lot of time this week preparing the first batch of curated boxes. When complete, I will advertise these in Facebook marketplace, with photos and inventory.

Followers - I would appreciate your feedback about the makeup of the boxes, once they are advertised. Do they contain items that you think are useful? What might be missing?

Thank you!

This is a wonderful venture. I wish I hadn't thrown out the few forks our son bent out of shape, because they would have been fine for bear fur....

A Calmar-area sculptor says he “cleaned out” pretty much every Edmonton thrift store of forks. But it’s for a good cause.

So today I went through my collection of treasures. and put together some party sets. There are two boxes for 19 children, and one for 8. These boxes contain plates, bowls, cups, spoons and forks. Please contact me if you would like to use them at your next event.

Says it all really! Although the shop on Magill Rd has relocated to the front room of my house for now, I still offer a full service where you can learn all you need to know about using cloth nappies on your baby. The website is going strong too :) PM me with any questions or to book an appointment to come and learn about MCNs 👶🏼

This is a radio interview with some people who have written a book that perfectly expresses some of the sentiments that led me to creating this page.
