Qualified Butcher Required - Part-time.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and passionate butcher to support our growing business!
The successful person must be able to de-bone whole carcasses of beef, pork, lamb & chicken to a high standard, minimising wastage and produce required cuts for display/orders.

Working with not only our own farm produced stock, but also a handful of localfarmers, a great sense of satisfaction and attention to quality will be needed.

We would like someone who is interested in gourmet lines, and traditional smallgoods.
Someone willing to learn new styles and a team player.
You must be self motivated, and willing to go over and above in everything that you do.

Casual Position available.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Meat Packer.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Weigh, wrap, pack and display cuts of meat
•Pack meats to specification or customer’s orders
•Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature
•Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards

Required Skills/Experience

•Previous experience in the meat industry (preferred but not essential)
•Ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced, team environment
•Ability to work under pressure
•Have strong attention to detail and communication skills
