Installed a Starlink Satellite for one of our great customers who works from his home in Armidale. Unfortunately a tree has grown into the line of site for his NBN fixed wireless. Upside is his speed is now around 250meg download.

Due to the latest severe weather and flooding in Northern NSW, there are approximately 3,300 nbn services currently impacted. The majority of these are due to power outages where we cannot safely deploy generators. We have technicians working to restore services where safe.

We have generators deployed to multiple nbn assets with more on standby ready to deploy when needed. We currently have a nbn FlyAway Kit located at the Ballina Surf Club and have nbn Muster Trucks on standby and will deploy them to areas as needed where it is safe to do so.

In line with advice from NSW emergency services, nbn has declared parts of the region as unsafe for technicians to enter, unless it is deemed critical. This may impact users waiting for appointments. These appointments will be rescheduled ASAP, based on emergency services advice.

Been a busy couple of weeks helping our clients from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern Rivers and Sydney. With all the flooding affecting businesses, internet connections etc. Finally things are seeking now and showing the benefit of taking communications to the cloud.
