The actions you take before a sales call are just as important as the call itself.

So, what are you doing to set you or your sales team up to WIN?

The more information you or your salespeople have in advance, the better.

Set up a pre-qualifying process in your funnel to filter out unqualified leads. (They won’t even make it to your appointment scheduler.)

The time for the sales call comes and goes. (You or your salesperson is left twiddling their thumbs.)

NOBODY likes a no show.

Maybe, they’ll reschedule (things happen).

But here is the GOOD NEWS!

There are processes that you can put in place to prevent no shows from happening in the first place.

Here’s how . . .

Send nurturing emails AND text messages leading up to the call, getting them excited and ready to talk to your team.

In your communications, address the pain points they might be experiencing. Explain HOW your service provides a solution to their problem.

Get them excited about the results you and your team WILL deliver. And they’ll show up on time eager to learn more.

Sometimes, your best prevention measures will still result in no shows. Don’t lose sight of the fact they booked the call, so you know they ARE interested in your services.

If they are still a no show.. send them a steady stream of emails to keep YOUR agency top of mind. And don’t stop there . . .

ADD them to your Facebook custom audience, so they regularly see your ads.

A no show doesn’t mean you won’t make the sale. It’s merely a postponed opportunity.

Let’s talk about some tips that will help you better manage your time..

Schedule your business and personal tasks in advance, so at a glance you know exactly what you need to accomplish each day.

Of course, unavoidable problems will happen, but adjust your schedule to get your day back on track.

Adding time buffers into your schedule helps you bounce back from the unexpected. For example, add an extra fifteen minutes to a task that you know will take you 30 minutes.

Track your time for a week to see what tasks take up too much of your time. Determine if completing those tasks is the best use of your time. Do you need to delegate to your team?

Eliminate distractions as much as possible. When you break your concentration, it’s difficult to shift your focus back to the task in front of you.

Keep in mind during every meeting you host, every client you take on, and every task you delegate, time is money.

Focus your time on the work that creates profitable results for you AND your clients.
