A update from us, and a big new chapter for the salon 🤍
As many of you know big changes are happening in our lives.
For almost eight years, my mum Elizma has poured so much love into this salon and into caring for all of you. I feel incredibly grateful to have worked alongside her for the past 4 years and to have learned so much from her, not just about the salon, but about the relationships and community that make it so special.
In January 2027, I will be taking over ownership of the salon. Mum is moving to Queensland in March 2027, but she’ll still be coming back to help out for a couple of weeks during the year.
I will be letting all of you know when she’s visiting, so you can book in with her and enjoy a catch-up ❤️
As many of you know, I’m also studying to become a Registered Nurse so that I can provide more services in the salon. Next year I’ll be starting my second year of full-time study, with one more year to go after that. I’ll have clinical placements throughout the year, so there may be times when balancing study and the salon is a little challenging. I’d be so grateful for your patience and understanding, especially while I’m on placement.
This is a big change, but I’m so excited to keep caring for you and to continue what Mum has built with so much love. I’ll keep you all updated and will always do my very best.
