Metal Shop Technics is a family owned business located in the Hunter Valley region of Kurri Kurri, New South Wales.
Established in 1956 under the name of W.V. McCauley, the Company at the time employed over 100 people across 2 work sites, one in Carrington and the other in Kurri Kurri. Over a period of 40 years, McCauley's had a proven record of expertise in heavy and light metal engineering and fabrication. Works included fabrication of 190T coal dump truck bodies, pressure vessels and pollution control ducts (just to name a few).
In 1996, after many successful years in the fabrication industry, the Company took on a name change and the new challenge of establishing itself as a successful and prominent business in the metal shaping and forming industry.
Since the change over in 1996, Metal Shop Technics now operates from it's only workshop in Kurri Kurri. And with it's small team of long-term, highly skilled and dedicated employees and the latest technologies and machinery, the Company has now become the successful and prominent business it set out to become.
