Just spent the last days of my holidays in NZ for the NZIPP Photoshow. It was wonderful learning from next level guest speakers as well as mixing with my peers. Also getting feedback on my Antarctica shots. Seeing everyone’s work hung was great to see longer than the 30secs on the screen when judging takes place. Picked up my old faithful print cases with all my treasures inside. I’ve popped a few up here but will add all of them to my awards page in due course. What a wonderful time. Thanks to

So excited to be a shortlisted finalist in the Photocollective Australian Photography Awards for 2026. The shortlist is exhibited in print and digitally at the awards in Melbourne on the 1st of August. I’ll still be overseas sad to miss the event. Congrats to all the finalists and entrants 🤩👏

So honoured to be a finalist and 2nd prize winner of the Royal Qld Art Society 2026 Photography and digital painting prize. Congrats to the winner James Randall for his digital painting called ‘The Hunt’ 👏 and to all the other finalists and entrants who put their work out there.

Such a wonderful gallery space and a great supportive community.

Great to also see the lovely Teresa Durie with her beautiful figurative pastel 🤩

Yesterday Mum and I travelled to Stanthorpe to attend ‘The Stanthorpe Art Prize’. Creating great memories with Mum in a girls night in our old stomping ground. The night was sold out and there was such great excitement and positivity from everyone. Had a wonderful time with lots of feedback. Huge thankyou to Tia Carrigan for trusting me with her portrait 🥰The judges were Wendy Sharpe and Julie Fragar. Congrats to all the finalists and winners. 👏. Overall 2D winner was KHR Stewart for ‘Dollface’ a truely fabulous piece. 3D Winner was Keith Burt for ‘Inquiet’. the Stanthorpe Regional Gallery made it a dazzling Gala Event with music played on the grand piano, and treating everyone like they were stars. 🌟

‘She is Woven into the Mystery’ KYM BARRETT exhibition on now until June 22. What a beautiful exhibition and a great turn out last night at caGallery in Coolum. This exhibition asks questions about the mystery of being human, the meaning of evolving organic feminine forms as they become woven into landscapes. Gorgeous colours. A must see 👏

Multi talented artist and musician Peter Hudson has a solo exhibition at Mitchell Fine Art Gallery in Arthur St Fortitude Valley. A heavy message in this exhibition. Please take the time to go and see it and reflect. Before the 13th of June !!

3 pieces were ‘Noosa the Guide’ a guidebook for Tourism Noosa, my book ‘The Studio Project’ and my photo of Andy Cowan, an amazing musician from Sunny Coast ‘The Andy Cowan Band’.
