Everyone is creative. It’s natural.

It is something that everyone was born with. We are designed to make lateral connections. It’s normal. Up to the age of 9 or 10 we all loved to create. However, along the internal negative voice, process, fear and the ‘right’ way of doing things took over. Most of us left our amazing creative potential far behind. But, if you look closely, it’s still there, when you imagine something, in the way y

ou choose your outfit or when you decide what meal to cook. Creativity is a business tool! It is a positive influence on everything that you do. It drives competitive advantage and makes an organisation a dynamic leader in their field, rather than a follower. However, so many organisations have no idea of how to make a truly creative and innovative culture a reality. Visualfunk enables it to be a reality. Why does Visualfunk work? Visualfunk takes a non-text book approach to creativity. We believe that it is more than just a thinking style - its a behaviour. This has been developed from earning a living from being creative before we started to teach it. Visualfunk understand creativity because we practice it and we combine this with 10 years of corporate experience and understanding of the realities of the corporate world
Visualfunk creates a ‘negativity-free’ environment to achieve success
We live in the real world. We deliver fun and dynamic programs that aren't cheesy. We use a visual facilitation style and combine a wide array of learning methods that engage all of the senses. Visualfunk believes that the quality of creativity and output is directly related to the stimulus you put in. Visualfunk delivers creative and unique team experiences that develop a ‘what’s possible?’ mentality where EVERYONE participates and achieves as unleash their creativity
Visualfunk has creative and dynamic facilitators. You work with people who understand the art of creativity because they practice it
Visualfunk has over 10 years industry experience in both Europe and Australia
Visualfunk has a passion for creativity and enabling people to fully utilise their creative abilities!

In this episode, they explore:

The Occupational Philosophers Back Catalogue

In Episode 9, The Occupational Philosophers chat with Eleanor Tweddle - a podcaster, an entrepreneur, and author, with a best-selling book, Why losing your job could be the best thing that ever happened to you! (and she is also an amazing coach, consultant, and very funny)

After 23 years of corporate life, working for brands such as Costa Coffee, RAC, Virgin Atlantic, and Vodafone, Eleanor found herself redundant and so began a journey of self-discovery - getting really curious and asking herself questions about who she was and how she wanted to be, reimagining a new way of working and living, and connecting with lots of people - and now Eleanor helps other people thrive in the face of redundancy with her own business ‘Another Door’.

Eleanor has been featured in The Guardian, The Financial Times, Glamour, and Grazia.

In this episode, they explore:

Why staying curious about yourself and what’s possible is key to reimagining your world
The better question to ask yourself when deciding a way forward
What individuals, teams, and organisations can learn about providing space for reflection
Why you should think about what you want to be, rather than what you want to do

They also discover:

How Lego provides the perfect analogy for life
Why you should just stop giving a s**t
And why you should never look a penguin in the eye unless you have a plan

As always, there are some great thought experiments such as:

Twoddle or Tweddell? Is this saying real or utter hogwash?
Guess the ‘RE' song and artist
