⚠️PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT – NEW VENUES OF CONCERN⚠️
We have been notified of a number of new and updated close and casual contact venues of concern associated with confirmed cases of COVID 19.
❗️ CLOSE CONTACT LOCATIONS
📍 Bardwell Valley - Silver Jubilee Park Children's Playground, Alsace Avenue: Saturday 7 August, 3:15pm to 5pm
📍 Newcastle - Queen's Wharf Hotel, 150 Wharf Street: Sunday 1 August 8:15pm to 9:20pm
📍 Charlestown - Central Leagues Club, 8 Bula Street:
Monday 2 August, 12pm to 5pm
Tuesday 3 August, 5:30pm to 9:20pm
Wednesday 4 August, 4:40pm to 8:45pm
📍 Newcastle - Honeysuckle Social, 11 Honeysuckle Drive: Thursday 5 August, 12:10pm to 1:50pm
Anyone who attended a close contact venue at the time and date listed is a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result. We will send a text message to people who have checked in at close contact venues with further information. We may also make a follow up call to close contacts to discuss isolation and testing requirements. If you have not received a text message, please call 1800 943 553.

If you were at a casual contact venue at the time and date listed on the website, immediately get tested and isolate until you get a negative result, even if you have had a test in recent days. If your date of exposure at this venue occurred in the past four days, you must get another test on day five from the date of exposure. Wear a mask around others and limit your movements until you get another negative result, and continue to monitor for symptoms, getting tested again if any symptoms occur.
