If everything still needs your approval, input or sign-off… it might not be a team issue.
It might be a leadership pattern.
So many capable leaders are carrying too much, not because
they have to, but because it feels responsible.
But over time, this creates:
– hesitation
– reliance
– lack of ownership
And the business slows to the speed of one person.
Delegation isn’t about stepping back and caring less.
It’s about creating clarity, trust and space for others to step up.
So here’s a question to reflect on:
What are you holding onto because it truly needs you…
and what are you holding onto because it feels safer?
