A fun little play area for Mowbray Heights Primary School kindergarten. Play sheds, terraced circular deck with feature tree, and bike track weaving through garden beds. The staff and kids already love it.

The planting around “The Gathering Space” that we designed a few years back is really starting to take shape.

Working closely with George Town Council and representatives of the local and Tasmanian Aboriginal communities, we created a place that brings together the life long Tasmanian Aboriginal and European cultures of gathering for festivities and special events. A safe place for sharing stories, foods and culture.

The Ross Village Green is looking fantastic with the Autumn colours. The built forms that LOOP Architecture designed for us certainly blend in with the surrounding landscape. Once the gardens establish themselves, and the rabbits give them a rest, they will transform this old sheep paddock into a stunning park for many years to come.

The central courtyard design that we created for the Latrobe High School a few years back, is slowly developing into the fantastic setting we had envisaged. The ornamental shade trees are blossoming, groundcovers are filling out, and by all accounts, the students are loving the space.

Epacris impressa ‘Common Heath’ is a gorgeous little native shrub in Tasmania that flowers from late Autumn through to late Spring. Good for focal points or group plantings.

The Regent Square Redevelopment in George Town has kicked off with the transplanting of several existing trees. All things going well, this $2.4million landscape project will be completed by this time next year. #

Walking along a meandering path and selecting specific plants for specific positions will always be my favourite part of what I do. Especially when you literally make it all up in your head, then draw it up and send it out for construction.

Based on the actual size and profile of the Lee Enfield 303 rifle, this handrail was designed for a World War One memorial in Ipswich back in 2002. We are pleased to say the design was very well received by the community.
