How's this for some flood back damage, this is a recent exchange return Bitzer 6G30, only 1 cylinder was pumping anything with the amount of reed damage. The block has some pretty deep bore scratches as well, probably too deep to oversize so this one might end up in the scrap.

Noisy Bitzer HSN74 screw after a liquid event, the axial bearings and bearing cage has copped a bit of wear on this one.

Want to see what happens when you put the wrong valve plates on a bitzer compressor? This 6G40 had either J or H plates put onto it. Physically fits but the suction reed only just touches the block on the other side of the bore and eats it away.

Heres a new one even for me, this 4H open drive had its unloading piston completly missing. Valve plate damaged and alot of piston damage. Potentially munched the piston up into the metal paste in the sump (there is alot of it) id say it spent alot of time unloaded.

Well this week has thrown some more CSH screws my way. This is a CSH85 next to the CSH 95 we received last week. As luck would have it iv got a CSH75 inbound too. But i need to pull my socks up and assess these before i get too many comps in the place to move. Both these will be assessd and a report given to our clients.
