A farm for lease is available in the high rainfall area of South Gippsland. The 104ha undulating farm is sub divided into 34 paddocks and is 9kms from Fish Creek and 13kms from Foster. A 4 bedroom weather board home with solid wood fire heating is provided on the farm. Primary schools are available in Foster and Fish Creek and secondary schools are available in Foster.

The farm has a 20 a side herringbone dairy with ACR’s, stall gates, 10,000lt vat and auto wash system.

Sharefarmer Role Leongatha, South Gippsland- Readvertised.

A Sharefarmer role located 10 minutes east from Leongatha in Gippsland, Victoria is available. Nestled in the beautiful hills of South Gippsland this farm is looking for a 40% sharefarmer
The farm milks a 300 cow Friesian through a 20 a side swing over herringbone dairy. The dairy is equipped with a Jantec dairy system, ACRs and auto draft. Whole grain is crushed on farm and fed with a balancing ration in the dairy. The herd is a split calving pattern of approximately 1/3 Autumn, 2/3 Spring. An undercover calving shed is utilised on the property. The farm is 180ha in total.

The owner will provide the stock, facilities and majority of the machinery, the sharefarmer is to provide their own motorbike or side by side and all required labour.

There are current employees on the farm willing to stay on with the new sharefarmer if required.

A strong focus on pasture management, herd management, people management and a strong work ethic will be favorably considered in the successful applicant. After the first 12 months there is potential to invest in the herd.

Share farm Role
A share farm role for a 40% to 45% (Negotiable) Sharefarm role at Longwarry North in West Gippsland. The farm can run up to 160 Cows through a 4 year old 20 a side herringbone dairy with ACRs and stall gates.
A priority in the selection process will be pasture management and Animal Health skills. The sharefarmer is to provide a minimum motorbike or side by side, a FEL tractor (neg) and a bale feeder and/or up to 50 cows.
A 3 bedroom Brick house is provided with a separate onsite office.
The Sharefarmer is to provide 100% of the labour for the farm with contractors used for harvest and cropping.

Full time Farm Hand Role – Wonthaggi, South Gippsland

An opportunity for a full time Farm Hand role on a 280 to 300 cow, 132ha farm, is available at Wonthaggi in South Gippsland, Victoria. The farm is on the edge of Wonthaggi. Accommodation in a 3 bedroom house is available with the role to the right applicant (subject to Police check) as part of the remuneration package. Part time work would also be available for a partner and the role would suit a couple. The role is not suitable for visa extension.
The farm has a 28 a side swing over herringbone with ACR’s. The herd is based on a mid framed Holstein cow. The candidate will be physically fit and able to handle the day to day duties of a dairy farm including calves, milking, feeding livestock, fencing and general farm maintenance roles. A drivers license is also required as part of this role.
The role would be approximately 50 hours per week on a roster system with every 2nd weekend off and a day off during the week a weekend is worked. An additional 25 hours available for a second person. Remuneration of $70,000 plus the house is offered as part of this package for the full time employee.

Farm Manager or Sharefarm Role –South Gippsland
A position is available for a suitable applicant as either a farm manager or sharefarm role with a flexible start date available from April 2025. This is a 2 person role.
The Farm owner is happy to offer a Farm Managers role which will transition into a sharefarm role or the successful applicant can go straight into a 36% to 40% sharefarm role for 2025 / 2026 if desired. Milking between 240 to 280 cows in a 24-unit herringbone with stall gates, auto cup removers, cow collars and auto drafting.
A 3 bedroom house available on the farm as part of the role. The farm is an easy 10-minute drive from Wonthaggi. Yearlings are kept on the farm with an additional outblock for R2 heifers and dry cows 10 minutes away.
The role is not suitable for visa extension candidates. Overseas applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered at this point in time.
The client is looking for someone who wants to progress in the dairy industry and is interested in the right applicant who can progress from a farm manager to a sharefarm role.

Expressions of Interest
Sharefarm Role – Woodside, Gippsland
A position is available for a suitable applicant for a sharefarm role. The 204ha (510 acre) farm is flat with 120ha of irrigation with 3 pivots and 45 laterals. There is a back up diesel powered electricity generator that runs the dairy and the irrigation in the event of power failure.

The farm milks approximately 330 large framed Friesian cows in a 15-unit double up herringbone. The high production herd is fed approximately 2.2t of grain per cow with home-made silage, pasture and some purchased fodder in a split calving pattern. Part of the dairy farm is utilised for youngstock with an additional run off block.

A 3 bedroom house is available on the farm as part of the role with local Primary and secondary school bus stops a short bike ride away. The Farm is a short drive from Woodside beach with sporting facilities nearby.

Remuneration will be negotiable for the successful applicant dependant on experience and assets but the ideal candidate will provide all the labour for the day to day running of the farm and their own motorbikes and/or side x sides for a 36% share.

The Owners are looking for someone who wants to progress in the dairy industry. This is the first time the farm has been offered as a sharefarm by the current long term owners. An intended start date of 1st July 2025, however the owners are open to negotiation on this timing.

An opportunity for a 36% to 40% sharefarm role on a 260 to 280 cow dairy is available at Kernot in South Gippsland, Victoria. The farm has a 44 stand rotary with ACR’s and Allflex collars with a milking area of 130ha and additional 140ha of support area. The herd calves from mid July until September. A comfortable 3 bedroom house on the farm will be provided and the sharefarmer is required to live on the farm. There is an additional self contained one bedroom unit.
The Successful applicant is to provide the majority of the labour and a 4wd motorbike or side by side as a minimum. The successful applicant must be computer literate with good written and oral communication skills. Ideally we are looking for a team that provides 2 full time labour units.
