Have you ever thought about heading out with a detector to try your luck at finding gold?
Or maybe you’ve spent years in the goldfields, finding plenty of shallow gold but always wondering if there’s a way to reach those deeper nuggets — without risking the settings that bring you your bread-and-butter finds?

That doubt was exactly why I started Aussie Adventurer.
I was no different to anyone else — always wondering if I was walking over gold and never hearing it.

I see too many people give up too early. Not because there’s no gold left, but because no one ever really showed them what to do, how to do it, or how to think.

Every time I step into the bush, I still get that same feeling — the quiet moment when the world slows down, boots on the ground, detector in hand, and the sense that anything is possible.

Gold prospecting was never about getting rich for me. I started this journey over 20 years ago after being told I was dying.
Lucky me… I’m still here 😅

Finding gold today is genuinely challenging unless you’ve learned how to properly maximise the tools in your hands. That’s why I enjoy passing on what I’ve learned — so others don’t have to repeat the same mistakes I made early on.
