Completed my apprenticeship with 'The Gas & Fuel Corporation of Victoria" The government utility and the only institution at that time responsible for the supply and maintenance of Natural Gas in Victoria. On completion of my apprenticeship I was one of 22 gas fitters which repaired and maintained gas appliances throughout the Geelong area, at the time a FREE service to the general public. At this

time I also completed my restricted electrical license which allows me to work on and replace electrical components within my trade,

After several years in Maintenance I was one of the first Gas fitters in Victoria to leave on Contract when the privitisation of Victoria's Utilities began. Completed my sanitary plumbing with a well known Geelong plumber and gained my general plumbing maintenance through working for myself and several general plumbers I contracted for over the years. Completed my refrigeration qualification in the early 90's which gave me experience in all areas of refrigeration and airconditioning;

Worked at Newcrest Gold Mine, Telfer WA for 4 years as part of the Village Maintenance team and gained more experience in all fields of general plumbing and refrigeration. Currently working for myself in all areas of Gas, Plumbing and Airconditioning

New Legislation for Rental Properties, effective today!
