Did a job for my old Kalamunda City FC mate, Will Palfrey during the week.

He is renovating his home and installed a beautiful feature wall with his fire built into it.

Myself and the apprentice, Zeb, installed 2 wall lights next to the fire as well as other lighting in his living room and hallway.

The finished job was top class.
It looks amazing.

For the past couple of years the Murphys have been involved with the mighty Kalamunda City FC
Liam started playing with the club back in 2022 and myself and Lily joined up the following season.
Club member Darren Kennedy asked me to come down to training with the old boys and just like that I was hooked🤔😂
This is my 4th year coaching Liam's team and Lily's 3rd year playing and most importantly I'm still playing with the old men in the over 45s grandad league😫⚽️🥅
It is a great little club full of amazing volunteers.
This season, the club have 750 members.
The committee have been very proactive with attracting girls into football and there are now 250 female members at the club⚽️🥅

Like all clubs, money is always an issue. There is never enough.
This is my 3rd year sponsoring the club and a couple of my clients and fellow hills based contractors have also become sponsors. The club are always on the lookout for new sponsors.

If anyone out there in the local area would like to get involved in supporting a fantastic club, please get in touch.

Some of you will know that both my kids and I have played soccer with Kalamunda City FC for the past couple of years.
I would like to help the club to raise money for a new set of 9 a side goals. It would really make a big difference to the young kids at the club.

Finished a job for a family in Lesmurdie on Friday.
Switchboard upgrade with new main earth.
Also upgraded the Western Power supply from 6mm to 10mm.
Job went well, my clients, Rynhard and Annie were happy. They even laughed at my bad jokes😂

Did a switchboard upgrade for a client in Gooseberry Hill this week.
Upgraded his home board and installed a new switchboard for his granny flat.
It was a lot of work and we discovered a few lighting faults which we had to rectify😭 but when it was finished, it looked great and brings his home up to code.
Fitting off the granny flat is the next stage of the job.
I will post some more pics when that is finished

Installed a new DC ceiling fan for a good client of mine in Lesmurdie today.
It replaced an older style ceiling fan which is still in great condition.
The client asked me if anyone would like it before it gets chucked.
Would be ideal for a shed or a spare room.
The only reason it is being replaced is because apparently it clicks once every hour or so and wakes up my client😂
So if anyone would like this fan, free of charge of course (also comes with 2 remotes) please get in touch
