As we’ve been putting this year’s Chardonnay into barrel this week, it’s had us thinking back to our Chardonnay Benchmark tasting earlier this year.

As part of our 30th anniversary of Lethbridge, we tasted Chardonnay from 2002 up to our current release.

It’s a special thing to think that the wines we’re making now are just at the beginning of that same journey. And we can’t help but wonder, how will the Chardonnay we just put in barrel look in 25 years…?

Our 2023 Dr Nadeson Riesling is tasting delicious

“Matured in older foudre. A very bright green gold. A slightly different but superb rendition of Henty Riesling. A penetrating nose with its core of citrus fruits, floral notes and crushed rock. There’s a hint of sweetness, but this is essentially a dry wine, with mouth-tingling and invigorating acidity ensuring it’s balanced and fresh. I liked this. It’s the day for rosé

A blend of Nebbiolo from the Pyrenees and Pinot Noir from Geelong, made in an Italian style. Sophisticated, full-flavoured and complex, with lifted aromatics and finishing bone dry. In our opinion, the best Rosé Ray has ever made!
