✨ Doors open for little wonders 🪔

What actually happens behind the doors of our production site in Wermelskirchen? On 3 October, 30 children aged five to ten had the chance to find out as part of “Türen auf mit der Maus”. Across Germany, more than 950 companies, associations, workshops and laboratories opened their doors especially for children that day.

Under the motto “Doors open for little wonders”, the Sultan handed our young guests a treasure map and sent them on a journey through the “Land of a Thousand Fires”. As they made their way through our production area, they had to crack the secret code to his treasure chest - while discovering plenty about the world of wheels and castors along the way.

One of the highlights: at the assembly machine, the children could load the components themselves and watch as a finished castor took shape - before taking their own castor home.

The many lovely messages we received from families afterwards showed that the day will stay with them just as much as it will with us. We were especially delighted to hear how much they appreciated the team’s dedication and the care that went into organising the day - and that some of our young treasure hunters would happily set off on another adventure straight away. 💙

A big thank you to all our colleagues who gave their time, creativity and energy to make this special day possible!

The Smart Health Automation Summit 2026 is underway and TENTE is there together with LINAK Germany.

Our focus is on how innovative technologies can provide practical support for staff in everyday hospital care. With WeAssist™, we are showcasing a mobility solution that makes heavy hospital beds easier to move and helps reduce physical strain on care staff in their daily work.

SEPEM Toulouse 2026 is under way – and TENTE is there.

Until 24 September, we are showcasing our heavy-duty castors, wheels and mobility solutions for demanding industrial applications at this regional trade fair.

In focus: Omikron twin for exceptionally heavy loads of up to 15,000 kg per castor, as well as the E-Drive optima system for easier, more ergonomic movement of heavy loads. How can patient transport be made more ergonomic in everyday hospital care?

TENTE and LINAK Germany will be exploring this question on 29 and 30 September at the Smart Health Automation Summit 2026 in Düsseldorf.

The conference will focus on some of the key challenges facing healthcare today – from staff shortages and reducing physical strain to automation, robotics and more efficient workflows in hospitals and care settings.

Our focus will be on WeAssist™, our innovative mobility solution for patient transport. An independent study shows that the system can reduce muscle activity by up to 67%.
