I'm an amateur Bee keeper in the Lilydale area. My interest in Bee's is relatively new, I can already feel this will become a life long hobby. i have a small apiary in my garden at home. I am interested in Bee's and Beekeeping. These wonderful little insects are truly amazing, incredible gifts. I'm available to collect newly landed swarms of Bees, these are relatively ea

sy to collect hence why i don't charge. Most Beekeepers will charge between $30 - $50 to do this. If i travel a distance to get to your home, a small amount for petrol would be appreciated. For an established Bee Colony (one that has been in say: a tree or house for years) may be very difficult to remove, time consuming and involve more equipment than I have. I'm happy to access your photos and give you contact details for Beekeepers who love saving Bees in these situations, if i cant help you out myself. Some Bee Keepers will charge to remove these Bees and others will do it for the love of the Bees. You can discuss costs with them. Call me before you call the Pest Man , there are some very helpful people in the Bee world that will go a long way to save a Bee Colony.
