We helped Randalls Equipment Tasmania out with one of our fire fighter trailers at AgFest to wash mud off their excavator tracks. They gave us a beautiful thank you gift which included a scale excavator.

Scammer Alert

Tas Police are not collecting money from Tasmanian small businesses to support victims of violence in the line of duty. I was contacted today by a very credible-sounding young man and almost fell for his smooth-talking. Fortunately I have been educated by the Lilydale Online Access Centre and knew some steps to take to protect myself and our business. Tas Police confirmed that this is a scam and it has been reported to ScamWatch national data collection.

An opportunity exists to work as part of a ground crew team managing vegetation around live electrical infrastructure around the state. Our staff are highly trained with professional attitudes toward safety and the environment, as well as being able to meet the physical requirements of working in a high-risk environment in remote bush locations. This position involves living away from home up to 3 nights per week. All staff are required to pass a pre-employment medical and an Alcohol and Drug screen.

Minimum Requirements:
Cert 2 ESI Powerline Vegetation Control
Tree Falling Certification – ‘Advanced’ preferred
Operate Woodchipper
White Card
Current ESI First Aid and CPR
Drivers Licence
Cat 2 or 3 Chemical User Certification preferred

IV has a strong commitment to worker safety. The successful applicant will be rewarded with further training opportunities. Accommodation and meal allowances are provided whilst living away. Remuneration is excessive of Industry Standards and reflects qualifications and experience.
