YOUR NEVER TOO OLD

A common conversation I have is around people feeling like they are too old to find another job.

Recently I had a client who was in their early 50’s who had worked two jobs in their whole working life and never had a resume. They felt that there was no hope of change, overwhelmed with the thought of starting again and suffering with significant depression. I was able to write a resume that reflected their transferable skills and through that process they realised what they had instead of focusing on what the felt they didn’t have.
My client was able to secure several interviews and found themselves in a position that they had to make a decision on which one to take!
I was able to coach and mentor them through this process and assisted with the onboarding.
Fast forward a few months and they now have a dream job that ticks all the boxes of a better work life balance.
Self belief and reaching out for support was key in this process.
