PREPARING FOR A GREAT START TO 2026
We are looking forward to welcoming all students 7-12 back to school next Monday 2 Feburary. To support a positive and well-organised beginning to the school year, a recommended equipment and book list has been prepared to help students feel ready for day one.

It will be great to see students back on site and settling in as the new school year begins.

We’ve had a few messages about the Hartley Hall Markets, these are completely different markets, so we totally understand the confusion.

✨ Hartley Fresh Markets are still going ahead tomorrow
🗓 Sunday 1st Feb
⏰ 9:30am – 4pm

While it’ll be a bit cloudy, the forecast is looking good with no rain expected until around 5pm and 30° weather, so it’s still shaping up to be a great market day ☀️

Are you a young person passionate about agriculture, community, and leadership?
This is your chance to step up, build confidence, and represent your local agricultural community.

The Young Rural Ambassador Competition recognises committed local youth and helps young people:
• Build leadership skills
• Make new connections
• Get involved in the Lithgow Show and wider community

FREE ENTRY
Prizes available

Who can enter?
• Aged 14–17 years as at the 2026 Lithgow Show
• Available for an interview (in person or Zoom) on 10/3/26
• Able to attend the Lithgow Show on 14/3/26
• Open to both males and females
