Golding Wines Golding Wines is a family owned vineyard, cellar door, & garden situated in the Adelaide Hills.

At our Western Branch Vineyard you can leave the bitumen behind you and wind up the driveway, past ancient gums to find a lush garden and landscaped terraces surrounding our family built sandstone barn. Over the years the Barn has experienced life as the farm shed, the vineyard workshop, the family home and the location for many a family celebration. Now home to our Tasting Room, our Ginkgo Restaurant and the location for many events and weddings, it remains at the very heart of all that we do here at Golding Wines. We welcome visitors to our place seven days a week, offering wine flights, platters and cheese boards daily through our Tasting Room, and a lunch menu from Friday to Sunday through our Ginkgo Restaurant. Our Head Chef, De Buys Nortier, has crafted our Ginkgo menu to embrace the season’s finest produce, with a strong focus on locally sourced ingredients, some straight from our own kitchen garden. Whether you are visiting us for a wine tasting, a delicious Sunday lunch or an immersive vineyard experience we welcome you to experience the very best of the Adelaide Hills at our place.

Join us for our Melbourne Cup Lunch on the garden terrace as we host a fun-filled afternoon of delicious food and w**e, with all the Cup trimmings. 🥂🏆🌳🌸

Enjoy a glass of sparkling on arrival and a delicious seasonal 3-course lunch as you settle in for the race that stops the nation.

Dress to impress for your chance to win a prize for Best Headwear, enjoy our Melbourne Cup sweep, lucky door prize and big screens to watch all the race-day action.

And this year, we’re raising a glass for a great cause. 💙

We’ll be hosting a special raffle throughout the afternoon, with prizes generously donated by Golding W**es and some of our favourite local businesses, with proceeds going to our charity partner Opblue. So, while you’re enjoying the festivities, you’ll also have the opportunity to support an important cause and help make a difference.

It’s taking pace this Sunday at Golding W**es and we cannot wait to celebrate this delicious, vibrant and expressive variety that’s making waves in the Adelaide Hills. 🍷🤌🏼

Over the last few weeks we have been introducing you to the people behind the brands who will be joining us on the day, and we are now down to the final three!

Spring has sprung in the Gamay block, just in time for Gamay Fest! 🍷👏🏼

Join us on Sunday 27 September for our favourite Sunday Session of the year. We will be joined by 11 of our fellow Gamay producers from across the Adelaide Hills for a day of delicious w**e, food and live music.

It’s a day for relaxing in the spring sunshine on the garden terraces or joining our masterclass if you are looking to take a deeper dive and learn a little more about this variety we just love up here in the Hills. The menu this year is looking sooo good, we have live cooking stations across the venue for you to enjoy. Our pick, a serve of Raclette paired perfectly with a gamay. Yes, please!

For those looking to enjoy something beyond a Gamay, there will be plenty on offer from our visiting producers and from our own range including sparkling, rosè, chilled reds and a cheeky spritz or two.

Cheese lovers, this one’s for you! 🧨🧀

This is your sign to stop scrolling and start planning your trip to Gamay Fest. We’re bringing you multiple live food stations on the day and we have a feeling this one will be popular.

We’ll be sliding melting raclette all over potatoes and sourdough all day, while 12 Hills producers pour their Gamay right alongside it. A match made in cheese and w**e heaven.
