Don’t like the mark up value on op shops in the city? Feel like it’s just not the same making a donation anymore as it’s not making it to people in genuine need or the mark up for a shirt that was $5 is 30? I thought that too until I found there still is an alternative where you can make donations of clothing that are sent all over Australia remotely to be sold and given to people in need

Below is a list of OpShop partners in some of the most remote places across the country. Simply gather your preloves items, choose an OpShop and send away.

We recommend using 5kg Australia Post bags, stuff them full, tape them if you need to! Most opshops see in very remote areas and receive mail via a small plane. 5kg bags fit on the plane and are easy to manage.

The opshops are community owned and run and proceeds go into community projects.

Remote OpShop Project

I've started a new program based on my Aboriginal Art Counselling Therapy. It is now named the Soul Finding Foundation Program. The Soul Finding Foundation Program Is based on a non verbal approach to counseling using art, Indigenous wisdom and symbolism that allows the subconscious to tell the story, revealing
the trauma and life patterns of a client.
This method avoids the retraumatising of clients when telling their story as required by normal counseling techniques.

Along with this new journey I've rebranded my business as my previous logo represented fish out of water. Thats not me anymore.
The dragonfly represents transformation, intuition and inspiration. Dragonflies start life in the water, but unlike other winged insects, they do not undergo a pupal stage. There is no chrysalis for the dragonfly. They go straight from water to air. It is because of this transition that dragonflies are associated with change and the ability to embrace new opportunities.

Born in the water and later taking to the air, the dragonfly is a symbol of change and transformation. It also represents wisdom, lightness of being or joy, adaptability, an invitation to explore emotions, and being on your guard for illusions and deceit.

Purple is the international colour for women plus inspiration, intuition, dreams and destiny.
So a perfect synergy in my new logo.
