🔧 We’re Hiring: Window & Door Fabricator
Location: Longanlea, QLD
Alspec is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our specialised testing facility. This position involves fabricating aluminium window and door systems and installing them into test rig openings for performance testing against various Australian Standards. The role offers variety and technical challenge, with the opportunity to develop skills beyond standard fabrication.
Key responsibilities:
-Fabricate and prepare aluminium window and door systems
-Install products into test rig openings for testing
-Assist with test setup and preparation under the Facility Manager’s direction
-Maintain workshop equipment and ensure work areas are safe and organised
-Contribute to continuous improvement of fabrication and testing processes
-Keep workshop, testing, and fabrication areas clean, safe, and organised.
About you
-Experience in window and door fabrication, or a similar trade background
-Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
-Ability to work both independently and within a team
-Commitment to safety and quality standards
-CNC machining experience is beneficial, but not essential, as training will be provided.
